Nurture Group Support at Our School
At our school, we understand that every child learns best when they feel safe, supported, and valued. Our Nurture Group, led by our experienced HLTA, provides a warm and nurturing environment for children who may need a little extra support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Children are taught in small groups of up to six pupils, allowing us to give each child individual attention and care. Using nurturing principles, we focus on building confidence, self-esteem, and resilience, helping children develop the skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
Our sessions are carefully tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, with activities designed to promote positive relationships, emotional well-being, and learning readiness. Through consistent routines, supportive interactions, and a safe space to explore feelings and challenges, children can grow at their own pace and feel proud of their achievements.
The Nurture Group is a place where children learn, feel heard, and develop the confidence to engage fully with school life. We work closely with parents and class teachers to ensure that the strategies used in the group support learning across the whole school day.
