The Living Memory Group supports people in the Narberth community who have experienced social isolation and loneliness due to health reasons. Once or twice a month, Year 6 pupils walk to the local rugby club to spend time with members of the group—chatting, singing, and playing games together, from boccia to enjoying guest performers. The children gain so much from these visits, developing empathy, confidence, and communication skills, and they thoroughly enjoy the experience, while the older members benefit from companionship and connection across generations.

Mae’r Living Memory Group ar gyfer pobl yng nghymuned Arberth sydd wedi bod yn unig neu’n ynysig oherwydd problemau iechyd. Unwaith neu ddwywaith y mis, mae plant Blwyddyn 6 yn cerdded i’r clwb rygbi i gymdeithasu gyda’r bobl hŷn — sgwrsio, canu a chwarae gemau gyda’i gilydd, o boccia i fwynhau cantorion gwadd.

Mae’r plant yn mwynhau’r profiad yn fawr iawn ac yn dysgu llawer, ac mae’r aelodau hŷn hefyd yn elwa o’r cwmni a’r cysylltiad gyda’r genhedlaeth iau.
